INTRODUCTION.

I originally bought an Abbot from Ludgershall when they were repatriated from Germany on leaving service. I remember it turning up on the transporter and not knowing the first thing about it. All I knew was what the delivery driver told me in the short time he was there. How to start it, how to put it in gear etc. It was a good job he parked it where I said otherwise it would have been stuck in its dumped off location for a while. By the time I sold it in America I had been through every problem you could possibly have and had great fun and sad times. I did filming, carnivals, promotions, road runs, steam fairs, turned up at work with it, had Police escorts, rolled it and by the time I sold it it had made 4 times what I bought it for !
