Before one starts jumping up and down saying this doesn't match the Vickers figures, these are the record cards of Abbots that certainly existed an are in my posession. There were 12 prototypes, 6 with Rolls Royce B81 petrol only engines and 6 with Rolls Royce K 60 multifuel engines. There is evidence that these 6 Abbots were actually changed engines halfway through their life and are actually the same Abbots ! The FE numbers were Value engineered Abbots but there were some others too. One of these had the number 08 EB 30 ! 03 DA 26 became the Falcon AA system prototype. 08 EB 38 was an M107 bought from the U.S. and 08 EB 39 was sent to the Libyan army on 27/3/69 but was recovered and brought back to Ludgershall when the trouble started.
