THE IDEA IS TO OWN ALL OUR OWN PROPERTY INCLUDING VEHICLES AND PROPS.

THE WELSH COTTAGE : This is The X Teams main base. The idea of it is to create the sense of a very quiet sleepy place where nothing ever happens in contrast to The X Team operations which sometimes take them to the big cities and are always hectic and noisy. Here will be The X Team workshop, Gladys Gypsy Caravan and the main Cottage.

In extreme financial conditions the Cottage could be one owned by someone who is prepared to let us use it for filming over the 30 year period. The workshop does not have to exist there just has to be a barn or big shed on site. The actual Cottage and workshop interiors could be permanently built into the visitor centre and be on display. The workshop will be real and in use where it will maintain the vehicles, make items for Visitor Centre and online shops. The machinist for the workshop can also double as Dave the mechanic in the film version.

THE SPANISH VILLA AND BOAT: This Villa was bought by Ross' Dads' Brother and was left to him when he died. A cruiser came with it. These two will be maintained and lived in by the boat Captain Tom who will also act in the films as the same person.

In extreme financial conditions the Villa and boat could be owned by someone willing to let us film and play the part of the Captain. If we do own it we will allow cast and crew to use it when it is not being used for filming. Also, time can be given to people the Trust side of The X Team think worthy.

THE CORFU APARTMENT : This appears in book 3 and the same applies for this property as the Spanish Villa.

Ross' works Land Rover 110 300Tdi.

This will be bought from Withams Specialist Vehicles when required.

Ross' Transit Van and Twin wheel caravan.

This appears in book 1 and the van will be used to transport items for the filming and the caravan will double as sleeping quarters, tea and food wagon and office for filming. Will be bought new just before filming.

The SAS donated Chevy Astro.

This appears in book 2 and is a customized black van with technology ! We already own this van.

Harrys' Land Rover Defender 90 Gun Bus.

This appears in book 3 (?) and is a weapons platform for the whole team. We already own this vehicle.

Ross' Dads' Z Cars Mini.

This appears in book 1 and will be a Yamaha R1 engined Mini in the old 60s colours. It will be fitted with automatic weapons and everything will work. It will be around 155 hp. Used throughout the films in some high speed chases and will also be stored on display in the Visitor Centre Museum.

ALL VEHICLES WILL BE DISPLAYED IN THE VISITOR CENTRE X TEAM MUSEUM WHEN NOT BEING USED FOR FILMING. ALL MAINTENANCE WILL BE CARRIED OUT BY THE X TEAM WORKSHOP.
